World Meditation Day

World Meditation Day was joyously celebrated by Amrita Vidyalayam, New Delhi on 21 December 2025 on the virtual platform of Google Classroom.


Students and teachers, across Nursery to grade XII, joined the momentous occasion to promote inner peace and mental well being. The call for collective peace and self healing through the momentous session, raised awareness regarding the significant benefits of meditating on a regular basis for sound mental health and fostering global harmony.

I read the post, and it really highlights how World Meditation Day is all about slowing down, focusing on inner peace, and managing stress through simple mindfulness practices. It made me think of a time during exams when my mind felt overloaded and I even considered help with online exam because I couldn’t handle the pressure. But learning about meditation reminds me that calming your thoughts and breathing through stress actually helps more than rushing for shortcuts. In the end, staying present and steady makes challenges feel more manageable.
