TRIP TO VIZAG

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

“Travel makes one modest, you see what a tiny space you

occupy in the world”. —Gustave Flaubert

As a part of our undiluted efforts towards promoting experiential

learning, the students of grades IX, X and XI were served with

the opportunity of visiting ‘INS DEGA’ and touring Vizag city

in the last week of November. This educational tour provided

the students a rich exposure and learning in wider contexts. The

city displayed the Indian Navy’s might, valour and elan. The

visit helped our students to gain hands-on learning experiences

and forge their own path. Amidst picturesque beaches and

serene landscape, students had the opportunity to experience the

different dynamics of learning at INS DEGA Ship, Teneeti Park,

INS Kursura Submarine Museum, Rishikonda Beach, TU-142

Aircraft Museum, Araku Valley, Borra caves, Tribal Museum,

Waterfalls, Coffee Plantations, Honey Bee Farming Garden,

Bheemili Beach, Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Ramanaidu

Studio and Kailasagiri Park.
